AN OVERVIEW OF PRICING Please contact us to arrange a free consultation visit. We can meet so you can learn more about what I can do and I can answer any questions. Below are packaged service combinations that have worked well in the past. However, we can also create a unique package to meet your needs so, please, do let me know if you want to discuss variations to meet your specific needs. Every case is different so this flexibility in services is essential.
HOW A PACKAGE WORKS Packages work well for several reasons: A pricing discount is built-in to the packages and a discount will also be included in any unique service combinations. The discount increases as the package hours and services increase. Package services are effectively pre-grouped in a way that we have found to usually work very well. We added in the average number of visits and hours normally used to complete the services in that package. With a package, we do those calculations for you. As we work together and you become more familiar with the services, adjustments can be made. Services can be swapped as needed. For example, a service swap could happen if you bought a package with vigil hours but then decided you had enough vigil support with your care team and wanted instead to focus more time in life processing or legacy work. We can then swap services to fit your needs. If you want to adjust a package later, often we often can prorate unused services or add on service time as needed. The more complete packages offer the advantage of requiring just one decision in what can be a complex time mentally. After one decision, you won’t have to think about it again while you have so many other pressing concerns. When you purchase a comprehensive package, you can rest assured that we will be committed to you through life processing, the death and into their early grief. In other words, you won’t have to worry that I might not be available later on due to other client obligations.
DESIGNING YOUR OWN PACKAGE After you look over the packages offered below, you may feel you need a different combination of services that are not reflected in any of the package options below. Together we can discuss your goals and needs and we can explore various combinations to help you plan. I can combine services in any way to make a package that works for you. Unique combinations will also have an increasing discount built in, We can discuss all options to find what works best for you. Whatever you choose, I will be honored to work with you offering quality service for any time we have together.
DO I HAVE TO FIGURE OUT WHAT I NEED? No. You do not have to figure out or decide what services or package you need. Just leave that all to me. A SLIDING SCALE, REFUNDS AND OTHER INFO To me, doula work is a powerful ministry to which I am deeply called. Every year I walk with two families on this journey, free of charge or “pro-bono.” Please contact me if this is your need. Also it’s important to remember that our prices can often be adjusted on a sliding scale according to your financial abilities. Please do not hesitate to ask. I am passionare about this work and I am committed to making my services available to all. Fees may be refunded on a prorated basis if the needs unexpectedly change, for example, if a vigil lasts fewer days than expected. I am also very happy to explain how I calculated my pricing. Please ask if you have any questions. It can be very beneficial to have the hidden costs of this work revealed. I firmly believe that a customer has a right to know where their money is going. In-person client visits over 30 miles from Iredell, Texas may incur a travel fee.
